General Narrative |
A suspect is being sought by the Kingsport Police Department for the theft of a cellular telephone.
On September 5, 2013 at approximately 5:00 pm, an individual placed her iPhone 4s on the counter of a restaurant in Downtown Kingsport. She forgot about laying the phone down and walked away. A moment later, another customer picked up the phone and left the restaurant. The suspect in the theft is a white male with a slim build. He has a goatee and long dark hair worn in a ponytail. He was last seen driving out of the parking lot in a Chevrolet or GMC faded red full-size pickup (with camper top) or Sport Utility Vehicle. Photos of the suspect and the vehicle are included in this release. Anyone who may be able to identify or help locate either the suspect or the vehicle is asked to contact the K.P.D.
