General Narrative |
K.P.D. Detectives need assistance in identifying a suspect in a recent burglary to a Kingsport business.
On January 18, 2014 at approximately 11:20 PM, an unknown suspect burglarized Kingsport Exterior Vinyl Supply, located at 128 Regional Park Drive. The suspect made entry to the business by ramming a garage bay door with a vehicle. Once inside, the suspect forced open another door to gain access to the office, where he stole an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect appears to be a heavy-set white male, possibly bald or at least having a receding hairline, and appears to wear glasses. This is the second time this business has been burglarized in the past month, with the first incident occurring on December 27, 2013. The same suspect is believed to be responsible for both incidents. Photos of the suspect captured on surveillance video are included in this release. The actual video footage can be viewed on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the link below. Anyone who may be able to help identify this suspect or provide Detectives with any additional information to help them solve this case is asked to contact the K.P.D. Criminal investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. For additional information, please contact: Thomas M.
