| A mysterious fire that destroyed two tractor trailers is currently under investigation.
On January 6, 2014 at approximately 12:15 AM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to the parking lot of 9954 Airport Parkway in Kingsport in reference to a tractor trailer fire. Upon arrival, officers found two tractor trailers engulfed in flames. Kingsport Fire Fighters responded and extinguished the blaze. This incident is being cooperatively investigated by the Kingsport Police Department and the Kingsport Fire Department. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
