K.P.D. Detectives ask for public input to help them identify a suspect in an auto-burglary at a local grocery store.
On November 10, 2013 at approximately 2:30 AM, an auto-burglary occurred in the parking lot of Kroger, located at 1664 East Stone Drive in Kingsport. An unknown white male suspect unlawfully entered a red Chevy S-10 pickup that was parked in the parking lot and stole over $1,000 of personal property belonging to the owner. The criminal offense was captured on store surveillance footage. The suspect was also caught on video driving in the parking lot and shopping inside the store. The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a white mid-1990s Ford Ranger pickup. Photos of the suspect and his vehicle are included in this release.
