KPD e-News Release: Kingsport Police Detectives Request Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspects
GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On July 14, 2014, just prior to 1:00 AM, two suspects (one a white male, the other a white female) burglarized a residence on Gravely Road in Kingsport. Entry was made to the residence via a window on the rear of the house. The suspects stole cash, a firearm, and several electronic items with a combined total value of nearly $4,000.
The victim’s brother was watching over the house while he was temporarily away. Two days before the burglary, he noticed that someone had unsuccessfully attempted to pry open the garage door, prompting him to install a motion sensing “trail camera” to monitor the property. The two suspects believed to be responsible for the burglary were captured in a series of photographs, some of which are included in this release. Kingsport Police Detectives are requesting assistance in identifying these two individuals. Particular attention should be paid to the full length “sleeve” tattoos on both arms of the male suspect. The tattoos appear to extend across the male suspect’s back as well. Anyone who recognizes either of these suspects is asked to contact the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. |
