KOSBE Small Business Development Center Offers New Tool for Better Business Decisions
KINGSPORT – The Kingsport Office of Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) and the Small Business Development Center at ETSU Kingsport Affiliate Office have announced its acquisition of a new business decision making tool available to the community.
KOSBE Executive Director, Aundrea Wilcox, has been certified in the use of GrowthWheel‚®, an interactive program to help entrepreneurs and business owners in every phase of business development.
The GrowthWheel‚® method of business coaching provides an easy-to-understand perspective on starting and growing a business.‚ The program uses visual frameworks, worksheets and detailed checklists to aid businesses in identifying critical challenges, opportunities and planning models.‚ The most important aspect of the GrowthWheel‚® program is to enhance insightful decision making among business owners.
Ideally, this new business tool is applied in a private, confidential, one-on-one session to aid business owners in being successful.‚ However, group training presents an opportunity for business owners to share experiences and tackle problems together.‚ The first introductory group program, GrowthWheel‚® Introduction: A New Approach to Business Decision Making, will be offered on Wednesday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m., at the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.‚ Subsequent introductory seminars will be offered in Rogersville and Morristown. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.‚ To reserve a seat, go to goo.gl/FUuTDq.
This and other programs are being developed to help local business operators succeed in a competitive economy in every phase of the business life cycle ‚¬ whether a startup or well established.
Entrepreneurs and business owners interested in using this new tool should call Dana Glenn at 423-392-8811 to schedule an appointment or to learn more about the services that KOSBE offers.
