NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all citizens of the Kingsport Tennessee-Virginia area and the public at large, there will be a Public Meeting of the Kingsport Area Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization (MTPO) Executive Board on Thursday August 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. (EDT) in Kingsport City Hall 2nd floor Council Room located at 225 West Center Street, (downtown) Kingsport, Tennessee. Copies of the agenda can be found in the Improvement Building, City Hall, and Kingsport Public Library in addition to the following website: http://mtpo.kingsporttn.gov/. The primary agenda item for this meeting is: amendments to the Transportation Improvement Plan for Kingsport and TDOT, Adoption of the 2016-2017 Unified Planning Work Program, 2040 Long Range Plan Update, and overall project updates. A public hearing will also be held in order to receive comments andquestions on this or other items pertaining to the Kingsport Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization.
