Ages 18 months to 5 years

In this one-hour workshop, students will learn about and create a background and characters in 2D and 3D form. We will then take these backgrounds and characters and bring them to life while learning valuable storytelling skills.

Pre-Kindergarten skills learned in this workshop will be:
Following directions, scissor usage, communication skills, shapes, body parts and the letter “B”.

Saturday, February 15, 2015
Grades K – 5
1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

In this workshop, students will learn about and create background, middleground, foreground and characters in a 2D art format then using iPad’s, create an animated story. Students will also learn about story boarding and the planning process that goes into an animated story.

Students are encouraged to bring their own iPad’s (if available) in order to have the app used in the workshop for future creating. Students are NOT required to bring an iPad to participate in this workshop.
