What is YourGOV?
Please note that the use of YourGOV is intended for the reporting of non-emergency issues only. If you need immediate Police or Fire response, please call 911.
YourGOV is an application that allows City of Kingsport citizens to report non-emergency related issues to the city. YourGOV can be used via the web or your mobile phone. By using YourGOV, you can submit an issue and track its progress from submission to completion. In addition, you can view issues that have been submitted by other citizens and track their status.
To download the YourGOV phone application, please search for it in the App Store or in the Google Play Store.
Sign Up For Emergency Alerts
When emergencies happen, be the first to know. The City of Kingsport uses an emergency alert system to send official, real-time alerts to the public with information about potentially life-saving actions they may need to take to keep themselves and their families safe.
The system is used to notify residents about:
- Major Utility Disruptions
- Major Traffic Accidents
- Needed Public Assistance (missing persons)
- Weather Evacuations
- And more.
The service is provided at no cost to the public, however, message and data rates may apply.
GIS Maps
The City of Kingsport GIS Division is a full service municipal GIS shop. We provide spatial information services to all departments and divisions within the City of Kingsport and some of the surrounding local governments from time to time. We have a varying service area for Emergency Services, Land Use Planning, and Water/Sewer utilities. Our city limits stretch across two counties and our water utility spans customers in four counties.
