*This is a TWO-SESSION workshop: March 21st, 6-8 pm, and March 28th, 6-8 pm. You must be there both days!*
Learn to weave your own Viking Chain and leave with a completed necklace, bracelet, or anklet! While this may look like a complicated project, it’s merely a matter of looping around a dowel rod and then stretching it out; if you’re not sure what that means, then come find out!
Linore will guide everyone through the process of starting their weaving during the first session. Students will have a week to make their weaving longer, and then will finish weaving and complete their necklace, bracelet, or anklet during the second session.
Students will also receive an instructional packet in case they fall in love with the process and want to continue on their own!
Age 12+ (under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
There are two ticket prices: one for using copper, and one for using sterling silver. All materials and tools are included in the ticket price.
Shown below:
Viking Wire Weaving using sterling silver–we will not be using beads in this workshop, although we will talk about how they can be used in the future! This is a more advanced technique, and is tricky for beginners.
If you have taken this workshop before, however, you may try using beads!
