Join LampLight Theatre for a hauntingly beautiful theatrical experience, “Poe’s Paradox,” a play that delves deep into the darkness of the human soul through the lens of one of America’s most enigmatic writers, Edgar Allan Poe. The show runs from October 10 – 26.
Sit with Poe in his dimly lit study as sinister apparitions emerge from the shadows. This gripping tale explores themes of loss, abandonment, and the struggle for redemption. Through powerful dialogue and eerie, evocative performances, “Poe’s Paradox” brings to life the inner demons and disturbing ghosts that haunted Poe. The same spirits who continue to resonate with audiences today. Experience a riveting narrative spectacle that invites you to reflect on your own encounters with darkness and despair as ghostly specters confront the audience in an immersive encounter. Feel the intensity of this chilling play brought to life by an ominous cast and crew. Discover the depth of Poe’s literary genius and how his personal struggles influenced his eccentric works from The Fall of the House of Usher to The Raven. These and other entities from The Tell-Tale Heart, Annabel Lee, The Black Cat, and Lenore make appearances throughout the production, taunting Poe and the audience.

This production runs every weekend from October 10 to 26. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 PM, and Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM. Because of the subject matter and intensity of the subject matter, the play is rated PG-13. Tickets are $15.
Group rates and Senior Discounts are available. The admission includes the production and the Meet & Greet. No reservations are necessary; however they are recommended for groups in order to guarantee seating together. Concessions, Backstage Coffee Co., and our Gift Shop will be open with all sorts of themed Poe souvenirs and treats.
