The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a special event later this month for our furry friends – a Dog Park Ice Cream Social.
The event is a great opportunity for dogs and humans alike to socialize with others, while enjoying some tasty treats. Dogs will enjoy a free pup cup from Scooter’s Coffee, while humans can pick up a cold treat for themselves from the Beach Hut.
The Dog Park Ice Cream Social will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on August 26 at Kingsport’s Dogwood Park (800 Granby Road).
Though the event is free, Kingsport Parks and Recreation officials are asking folks to register to know approximately how many pup cups will be needed.
To register, please visit https://bit.ly/4dbD0aK. You can also register by clicking on the CivicRec link in the Connect Kingsport app or go to www.kingsporttn.gov and click on “CivicRec,” then search for “ice cream social” in the search bar.
