Tickets will be available at the Fun Fest Store beginning June 28th until noon on July 8th and are $10. Remaining tickets will be available at 5 pm at the ticket booth at the Renaissance Center until they are sold out or when the show starts at 7 pm.
“A Civil War Evening” takes place on Monday, July 8. The event is cosponsored by the Tri-Cities Civil War Round Table & Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts. This year’s show welcomes performer Bobby Horton. Songs and Stories from the Civil War Era will include historical comments and civil war songs sung by both the Confederates and Union troops. Bobby Horton will be dressed in a civil war era outfit and will be playing multiple Civil War period instruments. Bobby Horton is a gifted entertainer from Birmingham, Alabama and his knowledge of songs and tunes during the Civil War will keep the audience spellbound for entire show.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Renaissance Center Theater.
