Estonian Bluegrass & Gospel band – RobiRohi – to perform at Bays Mtn Park on Saturday, Oct 20, 2013 at 2 pm
The City of Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts and Bays Mountain are pleased to present RobiRohi in concert at the Bays Mountain Amphitheater on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 2 PM. The concert is free; park admission is $4 per car.
Robirohi is a four-person bluegrass and gospel group from Tallinn, Estonia, featuring English vocals, guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro, autoharp, and upright bass. This amazing group has played in churches, Christian events, public houses, and gospel, country, and bluegrass festivals across Europe. This is their first visit to the United States.
Several people from Northeast Tennessee have heard them perform in Estonia and feel that you too will enjoy their music. They will be playing at the International Bluegrass Association meeting in Raleigh, NC, September 28. Each weekend they are participating in church services across the South. They will be playing at venues ranging from the Jack Daniels Championship International Barbecue in Lynchburg, TN, to Holston Home for Children in Greeneville, TN to Asbury Seminary in Kentucky, to intermission at the Carter Family Fold. On October 19 they will be the featured band at the Bellamy Hardware Store, Bluegrass at Bellamy , in Surgoinsville, TN‚ (bluegrass@bellamy.com).
