Fiscal Year 2013 Listing of Transportation Projects Receiving Federal Funds in the Kingsport Urban Area The current FederalTransportation Act, entitled “Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century”, or “MAP-21”, requires the publication of an annual listing of projects found in the Kingsport area that have federal funds obligated (approved by the appropriate federal transportation agencies) . This list must also be made available through the cooperative efforts of the Tennessee Department of Transportation, through local transit operators, and through the Kingsport Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization. This listof obligated projects for Fiscal Year 2013 can be found on the Kingsport MTPO website at http://mtpo.kingsporttn.gov/Obligated-Projects or obtained by contacting the Kingsport MTPO Offices at(423) 224-2677, which are located at 201 West Market Street, Kingsport Tennessee 37664.
