KINGSPORT – The Kingsport Housing & Redevelopment Authority (KHRA) has received a grant to help plan for the revitalization of the Midtown Neighborhood, which includes Downtown Kingsport and the surrounding neighborhoods. The focus of the redevelopment plan is Robert E. Lee Apartments. The Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) is a competitive federal grant from HUD aimed at strengthening and rebuilding communities.
