Call for Artists: 4th Annual Carousel Fine Craft Show 2016
KINGSPORT – The City of Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts and Engage Kingsport in partnership with Tennessee Craft (formerly known as TACA) proudly present the East TN/Southwest VA regions premier juried, high quality, annual fine arts and crafts show: Carousel Fine Craft Show. Exhibitor applications are available now for the March 2016 show. All work must be hand-made fine craft/art work done and shown by the artists. This year Tennessee Craft board of directors will serve as the jury committee.
The three Day celebration of art will be held from March 18th through March 20th, 2016. Day passes are $3 for one day and $5 for two days. The Preview Party opens the show with live music, hors doeuvres, and the opportunity for the public and our juried fine craft artists to meet & greet and to share bard, music, shopping and community spirit. Attendees of the Preview Party receive a weekend pass to the show. Continuing on Saturday and Sunday we will feature interactive childrens art activities sponsored by KingsportARTS and craft demonstrations by various exhibiting artists.‚ Exhibitors will be available to offer their craft in person to the public during all three days of the show.
This juried show is open to all fine artists, artisans, craftspeople, photographers and printmakers. POSTMARK DEADLINE:‚ Dec 2, 2015

Site: Kingsport Farmers Market, Corner of Center and Clinchfield Streets, Kingsport Tennessee, adjacent to the new Kingsport Carousel.‚ The Kingsport Carousel began active operation on July 10, 2015 and has thrilled tens of thousands of people.‚ Riders have enjoyed the beautiful hand-carved and hand-painted animals and artwork created by area volunteers.‚ The Kingsport Carousel is quickly becoming an iconic cultural destination.
