| SUBJECT: | Detectives Request Assistance in Identification of Felony Guitar Thief | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On June 8, 2016 at approximately 2:30 PM, an unidentified white male suspect stole a $530 Seagull guitar from Morell Music, located at 510 East Center Street in Kingsport. The suspect both arrived and fled in a gray Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
The suspect was captured on store surveillance video, with a photo taken from that footage included in this release. Anyone who recognizes him, or who may have any additional information that may help solve this case, is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. | SUBJECT: | Female Auto Burglar/Purse Thief Caught on Video in the Act | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On June 13, 2016 at approximately 9:45 PM, an unidentified white female suspect stole a woman’s purse from an unsecured automobile while it was parked in the parking lot of the Sunoco convenience store and gas station, located at 1045 Bloomingdale Road in Kingsport. The purse contained the victim’s driver license, social security card, and debit card, as well as some makeup, a gold necklace, two knives, and a significant quantity of cash. The total value of the purse and its contents exceeds $1,000.
The suspect was recorded on surveillance video while inside the store, and photos taken from that footage have been included in this release. A photo of the suspect’s vehicle, a white Ford Explorer or similarly styled sport utility vehicle, has also been included in this release. The actual crime was also captured on surveillance video, and a clip of that footage has been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. | On April 21, 2016 at approximately 2:30 PM, a white female suspect shoplifted two spools of copper wire and an assortment of hand tools from Lowe’s, located at 2526 East Stone Drive in Kingsport. The stolen merchandise had a combined value of over $500.
The felonious incident was captured on store surveillance video, and photos of the suspect taken from that footage have been included in this release.
