KINGSPORT ‚¬ After interviewing multiple candidates to develop the new City of Kingsport website, TheNet360, formerly Times Digital Group, was chosen to handle the project. In addition to meeting the criteria required for the project, TheNet360 provided an opportunity to match the cost of the website with an equal in-kind amount to help launch the new website and create a digital marketing campaign.
Phase 1 of the new website project will begin this week with the discovery phase with a planned launch in October of this year.
Bret Jacomet, vice president at TheNet360, is excited about the partnership and beginning the project.
Speaking for the entire team at TheNet360, said Jacomet, we couldnt be more excited about partnering with the City of Kingsport on this very important website project, helping convert their vision of Kingsports digital identity into a wonderful online presence.
Not only does Kingsport need to have a superb online presence, Kingsport needs to be communicating with its citizens and also needs to be gathering attention from potential residents and visitors.
When people look for a place to visit, many times they start with a website, said Mayor John Clark. We want to make sure Kingsport makes a strong first impression to those who view us first through the web.
